Why did you choose the U?
They have one the few Stage Management programs in the country and when I came to visit, I fell in love with the sense of community in the program, as well as the amazing nature and city surrounding the campus.

I'd love to ride the London Eye as fireworks go off to celebrate the New Year.

My dad's special chicken which is a chicken breast on a bed of angel hair pasta with a white wine sauce. It was a family staple growing up!

I love Wall-E because of how much beautiful story is told through such little dialogue. There is a complex story line and so much character development, yet there are very few lines ever spoken, and that makes those that are spoken even more powerful.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1! It cleverly combines humor with strong emotional moments, with a great cast and characters! Also the story is wonderfully structured and the CGI is spectacular. It’s simply so fun to watch, I never get bored!

Why did you choose the U?
My commitment to the University of Utah began kick-offed after going through the Eccles Summer Bridge Program. This program gave me a crash course on the institution in which I became enamored with the David Eccles School of Business. 

What is one thing on your bucket list?
Sometime after graduation, I would like to travel to the Swiss Alps and explore! 

What is your go-to comfort food?
My comfort food is called "Frijol con Puerco" which translates to beans and pork. This dish has its roots in the Mayan culture, which is also part of cultural heritage. This meal is hearty and heavy which plays into the comfort aesthetic.

Though not a clear-cut space movie, "Bladerunner 2049" is a movie that I feel captures the steampunk-space theme. Though the movies take places on a futuristic dystopian Earth, it feels like another planet.
