Registration Major Change

Welcome to UOnline Utah Bound Orientation!

Before enrolling in classes, there are a couple of important steps to complete:

1. Start by completing the UOnline Utah Bound Orientation.
2. Then, schedule a meeting with your academic advisor.

We’re thrilled to have you join the University of Utah! During orientation, you’ll learn about course registration, meet your Student Success Coach, explore the online learning platform, and begin to feel part of our community.

All first-time and transfer UOnline students are required to complete the UOnline Utah Bound Orientation. However, if you’re a returning student who attended an orientation within the last five years, you’re not required to complete it again. If it’s been more than five years since you last attended, you'll need to complete the UOnline Utah Bound Orientation.

You must confirm your intent to enroll and submit your enrollment deposit before registering for UOnline Utah Bound Orientation.

KEEP IN MIND:

• The fee for UOnline Utah Bound Orientation is $30
  • We recognize that some students may face financial constraints paying for Utah Bound Orientation. The Office of Orientation & Transition have two options for an orientation fee waiver.
• Any necessary accessibility accommodations can be requested within the Utah Bound Orientation registration form
• Please complete your UOnline Utah Bound Orientation before meeting with your academic advisor
• Academic Advising is required before you are able to successfully register for courses.  Please contact your Academic Advisor from the list of programs provided above.
