Swoop Base Camp

Swoop Base Camp is one of our most popular Swoop Camps! Four-days of "glamping" and adventure in the mountains of Utah. Experience the outdoors while staying in a yurt or cabin, and enjoy activities like painting a Block U, giant swing, obstacle courses, and skits! This is a great opportunity for students to get to know each other, learn about Utah and the University of Utah, and gain valuable knowledge about the outdoors.
The Swoop Base Camp date is the week before classes start for the Fall 2022 semester. Swoop Base Camp does not fulfill the New Student Orientation (NSO) requirement. Please attend NSO prior to attending Swoop Base Camp.
