Keynote Presentation Reminders
- Arrive to your presentation location at least 10 minutes early
- Keep track of time and refrain from ending early or late
- Our office has your presentations in one combined presentation
- We have fixed formatting errors
- We are not allowing any more changes to presentations
Breakout Session Reminders
- Arrive to your presentation location at least 10 minutes early

- Please know attendance for breakout session will be dependant on participant numbers and level of interest in sessions offered
Resource Fair Reminders
- Arrive for set up check-in at 2:00pm (first-year) 10:30am (transfer) inside the South entrance of Gardner Commons
- Please have your table set up by 2:20pm (first-year) 10:50am (transfer)

Overview of Utah Bound Orientation (UBO)
The University of Utah's Utah Bound Orientation is a comprehensive program designed to ease the transition into college life and the university. It covers essential aspects, including academic guidance, campus resources, community building, and skill development, ensuring that students are well-prepared to navigate their academic journey and engage in the university's community.
**UBO is required for all undergraduate degree seeking students.

- Emma Cate Simpson has officially accepted and been hired for the Assistant Director position with the Office of Orientation & Transition. Emma Cate is coming from Union University (Jackson, Tennessee) where she will close out her term as Assistant Director for Student Leadership and Engagement. We are thrilled Emma Cate has decided to join our growing team and excited for her to meet each of you. Emma Cate started on Thursday, May 9th.
