New Student Orientation is coming to Honolulu, Hawai'i

As a newly admitted student, you will be required to attend New Student Orientation before you can register for classes. We know traveling from Hawai'i to Utah can be a big trip, that's why we're bringing New Student Orientation to you! 

This New Student Orientation session is only open to Hawai'i residents. Throughout the day you will meet with representatives from the University of Utah who will help you navigate your transition to the U, register for your fall classes, and leave New Student Orientation with the confidence, resources, and excitement to make your first year a great one. 

New Student Orientation will be held at the Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra in Honolulu, Hawai'i on July 2^nd from 8:00am to 4:30pm (HST). Parking, Wi-Fi, and catering will all be provided. The Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra is located at 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, Hawai'i, 96814. Please check back for more details on your New Student Orientation, including your one-day New Student Orientation schedule, parking instructions and more. As a reminder, you will receive an email 3-days before your scheduled New Student Orientation with detailed information. 

 

 At New Student Orientation, you will:

 

• Register for your fall classes'

• Learn more about academic programs and campus resources

• Connect with your academic college

• Explore tools to plan your first semester course(s)

 

 

 

Parent, Families and Supporters

Two parents, family members or supporters are welcome to join you during your one-day New Student Orientation. During your First Semester Course Planning, we welcome your family to join a small parent, family, and supporter session while you are registering for classes.
