MOMS & DADS EVENTS FAQS
Mom's and Dad's Night will take place Wednesday, December 4th. The dinner reception begins at 5pm in the Sorenson Arts & Education Complex in room 1151. The basketball game vs. BYU begins at 6pm in the Huntsman Center.
Parking is free for participants in the Union Visitor Lot. Please keep an eye on your email for a parking validation code.
Salt Lake City is home to both Uber and Lyft. In addition, we have a vast public transportation system that includes Bus and Trax (rain) services. Please visit this page to view schedules and plan your trip.

Yes, if you want to sit with your student and if you want them to attend the reception. If you do not purchase your student a ticket, they will be seated in the student section with their MUSS pass and will not be able to attend the reception.

The registration fee covers the pre-game reception, basketball game, parking, and event fees. Programs such as Moms and Dads are fully self-supported and do not come from tuition dollars.
No, tickets are only available as a bundle for both portions of the evening.
If your student has Wednesday classes they will have classes this day. Please make sure to check with them to make sure the event fits within their schedule.
To request a refund, please follow the directions on this page under “The Office of Orientation & Transition Refund Policy”. Refunds must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event on November 20th. Refunds will occur a $10 processing fee per participant that will be subtracted from the amount of the total refund.
Catering is being provided by Café Rio. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options will be available. Please make sure to note any dietary restrictions in your ticket purchase form.
