Leadership Development provides training opportunities for current and aspiring student leaders through programs, conferences, and support. The LeaderShape Institute is the signature event coordinated by Leadership Development each year.
Do you know a great student leader, faculty or staff mentor, or student group that has made a lasting impression on campus and who deserves to be recognized? If so, consider nominating them for the first annual University of Utah Student Leadership Awards! The University of Utah is home to a host of excellent student leaders and for the first time, the Office of Orientation and Leadership Development is looking to recognize the great work that goes on around campus.
Eight categories will be recognized this year. Those categories are listed below. Please consider nominating a student or group that you think deserves this honor. Nomination forms are available in February each year.
Nominations will be reviewed by a committee and the award recipients will be recognized at the University of Utah Student Leadership Awards Banquet on the evening of Thursday, April 10, 2014.
